Within walking distance of the city centre of Argelès Gazost, we will welcome you in a Belle Epoque (late XIX century) mansion.
Built for a gentleman from Nice in the 1890s, the house also somehow borrows from Tuscan architecture, dear to the native region of the owner. A stone’s throw from the 100-year old,10-acre park surrounding the spa complex it was part of a vast building project of which it eventually turned out to be the sole representative. Like the spa buildings nearby, it is decorated with pink Pyrenean marble, which makes it the witness of the local traditional know-how.
Comfort and refinement are the two key words of this 3-storey mansion which will also allow our guests to enjoy a breathtaking view on the valley of the gaves (the local Pyrenean mountain streams) region. Two suites and two bedrooms offer all the privacy one may look for. The stay, during which you will be served morning breakfast, will give you a chance to choose between the observation of the mountains in summer or relaxation and rest near the fireplace in winter. Last but not least a garden of more than 200 square metres planted with old apple trees and magnolias will allow the visitor to enjoy a climate that has been famed for its benefits for the health since the XIX century.
